I feel the one area that Fisher hasn't been able to appreciably improve is the OL. No idea why though

Hopefully this year and next year that changes.

2019 & 2020 OL classes were weird to me. Kenyon in 2019 & Morris in 2020 were both elite, but they are elite guards you hope can play tackle. Why bring in so many guards around them? I'd like to recruit too many tackles and move some to guard, but not the other way around. I like the 3 kids for 2021 a lot. All tackles. Would love Foster for sure, but if not, 2 more guys that could play tackle please.

I blame Turner, not Henson. The 2020 class was done when he got here other than Morris. And the 2021 class looks good to me. It almost felt like Turner would rather coach up a 3 star than go after elite guys. Remember when Turner thought Prator was a LT for fall camp.

Any word on Blanton? He has been hurt forever, should I still have hope he can be a starting tackle in 2021?

Remember when anyone seriously thought that Prater was an SEC-caliber lineman?

Maybe I'm the only one but, I never understood what everyone saw in Turner. The guys from the OL that got drafted under him were picked up because of athletic ability and talent, not coaching.

Forgot OL recruiting, our RB recruiting under Jimbo has been absolutely baffling. And that was with our old RB coach skirting the rulebook

That would be such a bummer.

We haven’t landed an elite ranked RB, but Jimbo has landed at least one 4*RB in every class. The 2018 RB class turned into an absolute bust though, with Corbin transfer and Jackson injury

Wiltfong just pipped in saying it isn’t over, and A&M is still in a good spot.

Every A&M coach ever been able to land a 4 star RB.

Jimbo was supposed to be different, and he has the track record of turning out star RBs. Frustrating but fortunately a little ways down the list of most important positions.

Johnson was the one I think most of us thought likely. Would be extremely disappointing to miss on him

The other problem is you can cycle 3 and 4 star backs with a really good line but we don’t have that either. The result is what our running game looked like last year

Read LJ is getting treated he and BJ will be the 1-2 punch. Not sure what your RB room looks like but that’s their pitch.

I would argue it's not super deep. And despite our OL struggles last year, I think the blocking future is brighter in College Station than Austin
