I don’t think anyone is striking, I’m not sure if anyone ever really did, CGSC got banned that’s why he wasn’t posting and I was on a cruise

Though I can see how my comment might have come across that way.
Lo siento; that wasn't my intention.
I simply meant that--not unlike political discourse--the overly zealous braggarts, fakers, attention/laughter seekers, and know-it-alls are the characters whom most folks remember.
I enjoy reading and chatting about sports amongst others who appreciate the same.
That's it.
I'll never be one of those fans who gets all defensive when a team other than my own achieves a modicum of success--or when another team/player/school is randomly praised or mentioned in some random print publication.
My current lurker's status has revealed to me that a bizarrely large percentage of tSECr posters are guilty of that very behavior.
I'm a lover, not a fighter.
Unless Mexican food is involved.
Take the last jalapeño from the queso, and I'll cut you.

If my liberal university colleagues knew that I was far to the political right of Ronald Reagan, I wouldn’t achieve tenure—for which I go up this year.
