We all probably should have, Missouri has struggled all year against P4 teams. With how bad their schedule is, they can still reach 10 wins but I also wouldn’t be shocked if they don’t make a bowl either.

Realistically, how high should / will we move up? I have a very hard time not putting a 5-1 (3-0) SEC team not in the top 15.

We are the only 3-0 team in the SEC and the 2nd week in a row we have lead the SEC but I don’t see us being higher than 17th. The media just doesn’t move teams up 10 spots after one week.

I will caution that this Mizzou team is very overrated, but that was still one of the best, most complete games of football I’ve seen A&M play in a long time. Mizzou isn’t a legit top 10 team, but that was still a thrashing of a solid conference foe. Just took the lead from the beginning and controlled the game the whole time.
I think A&M moves up in the 17-21 range, mizzou probably drops to right around where we are at as well.

How would one know? They may come back and kick are the rest of the season. And Texas is coming into the cross hairs.

Barely scraping by Boston College and beating vandy in double OT are my main clues.
Not saying Mizzou is total trash, they may even end up at +/- 9 wins, but they certainly aren’t top 10 material. Top 25 I could see, but that’s it.

Two things are true, we’re better than everyone thought after writing us off after ND.
Mizzou is not a top 10 team and they were close to being exposed twice before we got to em.
I think 16 or 17 is a good and fair ranking.
