Maybe Red and Jamail decided to strategically work the other side of things to bring change more quickly? I mean they don't like having a position coach as the head coach

To be fair, that was one of the most poorly officiated games I've ever seen. I think WCA, watched most of if and could probably agree. Texas has for sure gotten the benefit of more calls than not in the history of the big 12, but they got absolutely hosed yesterday by the refs.

It doesn't make what the punter did any less hilarious though.

This is the kind of officiating they are accustomed to,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrzdWla8st8

so when a game goes against them it's an obvious conspiracy. They are saying on shaggy that they need to get Serpico's article out there so the corruption can be exposed. Aside from the fact that they think anyone besides them cares about their pillow fight with okie light, it's pathetic.

fricking pathetic. losers gonna lose

I moderately disagree. There were some blown calls but they screamed the loudest over 2 turnovers. Cowboy receiver was bobbling and they thought it was a fumble recovery and a another one got popped on the catch and the sip DB caught the loose ball against the turf.

There were a few others that were legit, but those were both the right calls.

I definitely agree those were the right calls. The worst ones I saw were a terrible roughing the passer call, a couple non-existent holds, and then this defensive holding on a running play

they called the hold on #95 on this play... I don't know how that's even remotely possible.

IDGAF, they received the benifit of biased officials for years, one in particular, so them crying about officiating is delicious to me.

I seem to remember a certain goal-line fumble against ISU that definitely would've swung the game if the officials had been competent

I remember that as well. Another reason Mack's last couple years were worse than the stats show. Should have lost that game (along with a couple others I believe) if they didn't get some of the generous officiating.

That doesn't mean yesterday's game wasn't one of the worst reffed games I've ever seen. Texas fans IMO have every right to be upset, and I think most fans would feel the same way if their teams got hosed like that. I know I'd be pretty pissed if that happened to UGA.

I hate linking to TexAgs but there is a video closeup that shows he WAS being held:

LINK

Look down to a post from "NoneGiven" who has a close-up. The lineman was being double-teamed and grabbed one of the OSU players' jersey to get him out of the way.

Don't get me wrong. Charlie is an idiot for not knowing that you could have defensive holding called on a running play, and he called one of the worst timeouts I've seen with 40 seconds left when OSU was content on going to OT, but if you want to call defensive holding on that play when the offensive player gets grabbed by the neck right after that, it seems like a pretty ridiculous call to make. All the defensive holds I've seen by the d line are when the D lineman just grabs the O lineman's arms or jersey right at the LOS. That just seemed ridiculously ticky tacky. The view of the ref giving Charlie the unsportsmanlike makes everything seem even worse. I don't have a link for it, but the ref initiated the contact IMO.

They LOST bc of poor clock mgmt and terrible special teams

But I'm glad Charlie is not taking as much heat for the loss as he would normally without the officiating distraction

The Big 12 officiating has been well documented over the years... So cry me a river
