It's been well known that Aranda has ambitions to coach at the NFL level after LSU. Is his name just on a wish list at this point?

There was a wish list article on TA or 247 with one of those writers. Let me try to find it. Farmer what do you think about the DC options?

My wish list would be Saban at DC/Co-HC.

Fire Jimbo and throw out 100 mil to Saban

Brown seems logical at this point.
Brown has completed year one of 5 year contract. He makes $1 million+ per year. If he leaves early, appears he will owe Michigan $250K.
Brown has always coached in the northeast, but has moved around a lot.
I read previously where some are speculating Harbaugh may return to the NFL if not competing for BIG Championship next year. Maybe a concern for a DC looking for stability in his 60s.
Aranda is just too expensive. He's highest paid DC already and the buyout to LSU would be over $2 million.

He's still got like 4 year-7 M left on his deal. I can't see him leaving yet.

Nope. Y'all have all the money. If you want him y'all will get him.

I am thinking about wanting some Cap Crown. What is your price to fully switch denounce LSU and become full-time Aggy?

Jimbo must win next year on the 24th

Here is another reason a coach may consider leaving Michigan.
Ann Arbor temp. forecast for next 7 days:
19/11 14/-1 12/-4 11/-2 10/-1 16/-5 8/-9
When you're in your 60s and have some arthritis, that kind of cold has got to hurt.

Michigan must be a miserable place to live in this time of year.

My roommate from A&M is coming over to watch the game. He lives in Michigan and is getting his MBA at Michigan. I’ll get the inside scoop how shitty it is and his opinion on the DC.

What about Wisconsin DC?

If you believe Liucci that the hire is going to be an 11, Leonhard doesn't seem to fit that.

May be worth noting that the question Looch was responding to had to do with the excitement level of the board when the hire is finally announced. What fans will perceive as an “11” and a coach who actually is an “11” are not necessarily the same.
