I think so too. Weakens a division competitor and we need to recruit twice as good as everyone else to make quick gains

Chin Pubes(if he has a clue) ruled out the DC target being on a playoff team and also said its not Todd Graham. Elko seems like the only name he hasn't eliminated, out of the ones being talked about on TA anyways.
Also worth mentioning that he said yesterday that we still don't have a deal in place with whoever it is...

Not sure how much we should trust Pubes anymore.
Sure, he still has some sources in the AD, just as he did pre-Sumlin (for whatever they're worth) but gone are the days of Pubes 100% having the information, whether he tells his customers or not.
Sumlin was Pubes' in real life drinking buddy before he coached at A&M. Jimbo doesn't know Pubes or give a frick about him. Pubes has been reduced to bathroom-stalking just like the rest of those pay site creepers.

His connections are only matter if Jimbo widely disseminates the status and target of his search within the AD.
If Jimbo basically has carte blanche to make the decision and then get it rubber stamped at the very end by his friend Woodward, the boss himself, who is also good at keeping his mouth shut, then nobody in the Department who might leak to Pubes knows anything. Especially if it’s only a verbal deal right now.
It looks to me like that’s how it’s going down and Pubes is totally in the dark and just stringing people along so that he doesn’t lose subscribers by admitting that, with the way Jimbo is running things, with as close as he is to Woodward and the free pass he had from Young, he, Chin Pubes, gossip queen, is no longer plugged-in.
