No license. I'm in the port operations tract with a minor in economics. I'd like to get into management or logistics in a port or shipping company in Texas (in Texas being the key.) I'll be going to the A&M Galveston career fair this fall and getting my name out, then in the spring fair, I'll hopefully be getting interviews for internships.

Another route I'm looking at is my moms friend had a foreign exchange student, and he works with a gas shipping company based out of Norway. They have an office in Houston, so that might work for an internship next summer/fall.

In all seriousness, at the career fair if anything I see interests me, I'll go for that too.

Oh wow that's pretty cool Despite the town being in the middle of absolutely nothing, I do like the people up here. Definitely not all bad.

Born and raised in Beaumont.

Class of '94 with a BS in Meteorology that I've never used.

I spent my first year after college working in Ohio, and I've been in IT on campus since 1996.

Last year I "believed" in the team for the first time since the 1996 season killed all future expectation. I've gone back to being a cynic this season.

Howdy!

Bio major, class of '04, although I took a victory lap and graduated in 2005. I bartended on Northgate for four of those five years, so if you were there between late 00 and 04, I probably got you wasted.

Originally from The Woodlands, I just left Chicago after several years and moved to Detroit about two months ago. Married to a Michigan grad, so I follow the Wolverines too.

Going to the Arky and Bama game this year.

Gig em!

Maybe I'm just more attuned to it since my parents are grads of both schools, but it seems like there's a higher amount of Aggie/Wolverine marriages and connections than one would expect, given the geography. Have run into more than a few "Aggerines" on TexAgs and around the country, as well.

Then again, as huge as both schools' alumni networks are, maybe it really isn't that surprising.

Howdy.
Class of '95 BS.
Class of '11 PhD.
From Houston; currently living in College Station (I teach & research at TAMU).
If there's an Ag alive who is more relieved/happy/in orbit about our move to the SEC, I haven't yet met him/her.

Beat the hell.

Well I could calculate the odds, but Arkansas would win a NC before I calculate.

No, I've absolutely noticed it. We were down for the Horn game last year, wound up playing beer pong with a Michigan grad who grew up in my husband's same neighborhood.

I don't know why there are so many Aggie/UM pairings. I went to grad school at Virginia and I don't notice nearly as many UVA/A&M or UVA/UM connections.
