Since most of us are new to this board, I'd like to take this thread to properly introduce ourselves.

I'm a 22 year old maritime administration major down at A&M Galveston. I serve at a restaurant down here while not in school. I should be getting my aggie ring after this semester. Whoop! Plan on graduating December '13. Originally from Texas.

A little background (I come with a past) attended LSU for 3 years (how I found this site) and was a member of the Golden Band from Tiger Land, and played a year of lacrosse.

Glad to have yall here.

Class of 98.

Grew up in Bossier City, LA. My dad is, shall we say, a hardcore Louisiana Tech fan... their stadium opened in 1968, he's missed 3 home games since then. I was around the Tech campus my entire childhood and considered going there. I also toured and received scholarship offers at Mississippi State. Spent a night with the Corps my senior year, got a scholarship and decided I'd go to A&M and be in the corps.

Joined up and I was in Squadron 17. Spent 7 weeks there before deciding it just wasn't the right thing for me. Ended up getting out of the corps and moving into Hart Hall (before AC) and spent the rest of that semester and 3 more in Hart.

Somewhere along the line of my sophmore year, I met my now wife and we both ended up getting ourselves on sco-pro and finding other things to do in life.

We typically make it to 1 or 2 games a year. Life/Kids/Money just get in the way of going to many more.

Hey guys.

I'm 30. Class of 2004. I grew up in Longview, TX and came to A&M in 2000. My degree was in Industrial Engineering and I am currently in the Oil/Gas Industry in Houston.

I have a wife and a 6.5 month old boy. We live in Montgomery County to avoid all the idiots in Harris County. ;)

We throw the best tailgate on A&M's campus. If you like to party and you have thick skin, you'll love our tailgate on gamedays and we have an open door policy for all Ags and visitors. I like chicken fried bacon and pickle shots. The SEC move was the greatest single decision for our school since they allowed women. If you disagree, frick you.

I'm class of '11, raised in Houston and live here now. Neither of my parents went to big football schools and I happened to grow up with several A&M legacy kids, so I kind of adopted the Ags as my team. Went to a couple games with family friends as a kid and once I was finally looking at schools in HS I wasn't going anywhere else.

Howdy Ags,

Class of 2010 here. Second generation black Aggie My dad was class of '83 and is from Bryan so I grew up going to Aggie games and attending bonfires and generally believing all of A&M's weird traditions were "normal" Both my parents were in the Air Force (my mom went to Michigan, though), so I moved around quite a bit as a kid. Mom left the service early and ended up homeschooling me and (eventually) my 8 younger siblings (the next oldest is a junior at A&M right now). Texas A&M was the first public school I ever attended. Loved my spend the night with the Corps and joined Squadron 3. Ended up meeting my wife in the Corps as well (she's class of '11), and both of us are now on active duty in the Air Force. Currently stationed at different bases--hope like hell we'll be living under the same roof again soon! No kids yet--hoping to save some money and make it to a few more Aggie games before those bundles of joy come along. Our last game as students was the 2010 Nebraska game, so we still have a good taste in our mouths

Pretty active on the Rant and TexAgs, as well as a few SB Nation blogs. Not really one to hide behind a username, so how I post is pretty much how I am IRL  Looking forward to hobnobbing with y'all RantAgs

Howdy -

28 and live in the Houston Heights.

I admittedly will say I did not attend Texas A&M. I got accepted last minute to an Academy so I chose to go that route instead of going to College Station. Took me a month to convince the school to refund my tuition for the first semester. I am however a third generation "Aggie" my grandfather was '56, Father '81(BQ) and Mother '83.

Been watching Aggie football from the same seats in Kyle Field since Sept '84 and usually get to 3-4 home games a year.

Hope I'm not booted out of the club for admitting I'm a "T-Shirt fan"

Ball Gravy forgot to mention he lives in Montgomery County so he can have space to raise goats that he can molest.

In my experience, "t-shirts" can be even more loyal than alums. The more the merrier, in my book

It's one thing to be an annoying t-shirt with no ties to a school. It's another to be a t-shirt yet you have some kind of interest that ties you back.

License Program or not? Also what are you looking to do when you graduate... I'm in the industry might be able to help when the time comes.

Exactly. And if you've been going to games since '84 you've experienced a lot more heartbreak first hand than I have

Class of '09, in my 3rd year in law school (out of state, missing Texas big time, haha) and will be returning to Texas in May. (That's me kissing the Texas soil.) I'm originally from the Tyler, TX area. My family was all Michigan Wolverines so that was my only real interest in football, but my then girlfriend (now fiance) took me to an Aggie football game with her brother who was Class of '03. I didn't know anything about the school at the time, but by the time I left the game (Texas Tech double OT game loss in 2002) I knew that A&M was where I was going to school. We both graduated in '09.
