They could start by firing Hagan and giving Price the entire defensive line. Then use his and Spavital's combined salaries for the new OC.

Has to get along with Sumlin. Can't imagine they hire someone autonomous. First order of business is fix the running game. Current offense puts too much pressure on QBs

He did say it was Foster before he changed to Chavis. He also called daylon already being recommitted.
Who knows. A lot of these things are fluid, and if he's actually getting info, he's probably getting it a few stops down the line.

Seems pretty early for there to be anything the works though.

B.J. Anderson was fired before the UL-Monroe game last year

This guy is full of shite. He makes very vague statements about huge things in the works.

Another thing that hasn't been talked about in regards to Kyler is every game he ever played in HS, Allen had superior talent. He had a 4 star receiver, 5 star left tackle, 4 star right tackle, and plenty of other D1 talent. At the college level, he will never have that big of a talent discrepancy in his favor.

My final thoughts on this whole mess:
Whatever happened was badly handled.
If Murray was suspended due to "violation of team rules" for back-talking his coach, it should have been announced and he should not have been allowed to suit up or make the trip.
Note to Murray: I don't care if you were the greatest HS QB in Texas history. As T-Bird learned during his time in the service, respect the rank, son. If you wanted to go someplace where rules apply only to some people and not to others, you should have signed with Baylor.
If Allen was hurt, he should not have started. If that means we had to start Hubeniak, fine. At least the loss would have been easier to swallow due to Allen being hurt and Murray being suspended.

We suspend players all the time and no one ever knows. If he is left at home it's just as big of a story. If Kyle was even average, no one ever finds out. Sumlin can't plan for Kyle to go 1/21 for -1 yard.

Agree with all of this. Sumlin didn't do himself any favors because all ESPN did after every 3 and out or bad play by Allen was pan over and show Kyler Murray on the sidelines. At least could have cut down on that if he had announced he was suspended for the game and Sumlin doesn't have to give a reason. Sumlin has yet to realize his whole, closed program policy usually creates more problems than it solves which is ironic seeing as what he's trying to achieve.

Why is it that we can never seem to get our PR shite together? A lot of our problems are being caused by this shite. The AD at a big program like ours is no different that a corporation. PR needs to be included in these decisions, if not wholesale controlling them.
