Y'all keep the fire burning, I gotta get up way early and go to Houston :yak: for 2 days of TXDOT traffic control training, so I'm off to bed. I expect to see a glow in the sky at 3am when I leave.

Just a drive-by post of solidarity to our old big12 friends. I hate all of this for A&M fans, who I've always found to be great folks. I hope this little shite-storm blow over quickly.

Im not mistaken nor trolling. Im simply telling yall what has transpired in the past 24 hours. Like I previously said, I hope that he doesn't come to Athens and stays in CS. But, from what I have heard that is likely not going to happen. He is wanting out. Smart isn't sold on the idea yet because he wants the D to be his baby akd he knows the Chief is going to do it the way the Chief wants... if they cant come to terms the other likely destination for him would be the plains... frick that... either he comes to Athens or stays in Texas.. hopefully he will come around and stay in CS. It would be best for all parties involved.

Sumlin isn't going anywhere. Everyone needs to stop with the rumor mills and let this play out. No serious program fires their coach over the decision of a couple of student athletes.

Why would Smart want to hire a DC who isn't going to run his defense the way he wants?
