for those of y'all interested, today's scrimmage will be streamed by AggieFBLife. I don't even understand the details and won't be able to watch anyway but I'll just leave this here

Here's to seeing a whole heaping lot of that for about the next decade!

That's what we need. We should be scoring points. If we get burned on some passes from time to time, if we get gashed here and there, so what? Put the boys out there who will smash and tackle. Put them out there and let them tackle and smash.

This line of thinking.

I like it.

So in clip one he can't separate the WR and the ball then in clip two he hits a blocker and not the ball carrier.

That's more of a testament to the Wr and his ability to hold on to the ball. It was a great hit.

I'm willing to bet that's what he was assigned to do so I'm gunna trust the chief and his reasoning until he gives me a reason not to.

this is a pretty safe bet. Defense can be tricky to evaluate without knowing assignments. George probably had outside contain there and so to do his job he had to blow up Nacho to make sure the play didn't get outside. He can't know what's behind him so he has to do his job first and foremost.

I talked to Chavis about a 8 months ago. He lit up like a Christmas tree when I asked him how he contained JF. Went into detail. He clearly thought containing us was the highlight of his career.

I think he'll be outstanding for the Ags. Wrecking Crew is coming. The talent is coming. We're going to be a strong team.

Went to one spring practice. It's too tough to read anything from spring. Wish I knew more.

The #1 thing I'm hoping to see in our defense this year: players not looking at the sideline when the ball is snapped.

Me personally is the one were we lineup with a 10 yard cushion on receivers.
