Weed laws notwithstanding, what's up with these clowns? I've never used weed, so I don't know what the BFD about it is, but I do know that it's illegal and a violation of either NCAA policy or team rules. I just can't imagine it being good enough to risk incarceration, loss of a scholarship, or a potential NFL career over. If nothing else, these guys should put the welfare of the team over their desire to get high.

Manziel drank underage. That is illegal, and a violation of either NCAA policy or team rules. I've also heard Manziel was a pretty big stoner himself, but I don't know anyone on the team anymore to be certain about that.

Still a Class C misdemeanor (the same as speeding) with a fine only as punishment vs. a County charge with a possible 6 months in County…..provided that it's less than 2 OZ. I know that the weed smokers love to compare weed to alcohol all the time. I'm not saying that they're wrong about any of their assertions on the dangers of each….or the lack thereof. My point is, if wearing red t-shirt gets you arrested and kicked off of the team, costing you a scholarship and depleting your teams resources, then don't fricking wear red t-shirts. Sure, You can fight all you want for the legalization of red t-shirts, You can donate all of your parents' money to #freered.com. Just don't wear a red t-shirt until that shite becomes legal. What these stoners are telling their teammates, knowing what the punishments are, is "my getting high is more important than us, and, more importantly YOU, getting victories this year." My point being that they should just lay off of the weed for the sake of their team. If not, they're selfish assholes trying to deflect their own shortcomings onto the State.

Manziel also drank and drove(crashed his car), so did Evans(crashed his car). I'm just saying that legal ramifications aren't as black and white as you would think, and people getting away with it everyone treats it as no harm, no foul. People get away with smoking weed and drinking and driving all the time. The moral hazard vs the legal consequence is something that doesn't align on this issue.

There's some real scum on that board. They always take things a little too far.
