Their offense will be a ton of trouble for our D.

It's wake Forest. we have superior talent.
We shouldn't lose, but we could. And if we do, it's LOL @ Aggy. If we win...meh.

Thankfully you're not making the decisions.

Outside of the money (that is going to be split 14 ways anyways), what's the point? We are going to be a completely different team next year, so the extra practice won't really matter.
Let's just end the Sumlin era. No need to risk injury that could sideline players for Spring practice.

Allow Christian Kirk to go out a winner.

This is a loser’s mentality. The practices will absolutely help. And any chance to get another W is one I want. Wake is a winnable match up. Let’s go get #8.

Several weeks of extra practices for young players is a huge deal

Stars don't mean shite once you suit up in college.
Go watch some of their games. They are likely going to score on us quite a bit. On paper talent doesn't play games. They are not a pushover this year.
If our players go into this thinking they should easily win b/c they are more talented they will get rolled.

Would this bowl be considered Jeff Banks' audition for the assistant hc position?

If stars don’t mean shite then why do teams with all the stars win every year.

Yes and no.
Playing experience could be good, but like I said earlier, these players are going to be switching to an entirely different style of play. How much will it really help them? Do we want to risk an injury just for the sake of playing under Sumlin's soft system one last time?
I just don't agree with it. Release the staff and let them get a head start on their job search (except for Moorehead...frick that guy) and allow the players to be with their families.

We are 7-5. Clearly our real life play does not match the on paper accolades doled out before guys ever set foot on a college field. So no. While they may give you an idea of a guys potential ultimately stars don't matter.

They get as many practices during the bowl as they do in the spring. That’s more reading defenses for our QBs. That’s more tackling, catching, blocking, etc.

Risk-benefit ratio. I just don't think it's worth it.
Call me old school but apart from the issues I pointed above, part of me is also against rewarding crap teams. We were a crap team this year. It may sound harsh, but that's just how I feel.

Release Moorehead no matter what.

Belk Bowl it is vs....sigh,
Belk Bowl is one of the highest paying non-big 6 bowls.
And maybe someone can talk Belk into putting a store in College Station (they have one in WACO of all places ).
(Belk was the first store to give my SO a credit card after she cleared her bankruptcy so we're quite loyal to them)

Yeah, but with the same shite coaches that Sumlin assembled. If anything, we should remove our offensive players as far away from Mazzone as possible.
And we all know coach Moorehead ain't going to start working on fundamentals. Not now, not ever.

So you're telling us Nick Saban could win with Wake Forest's squad???
