What is the definition of insanity again? Sumlin is what he is, F KS.

I’m not really mad because I’m not really surprised. Knew we weren’t a good team and you compound that when your up and down true fish QB has a bad game.

Yeah I had me a nice melt after UCLA. Pretty mellow after this one.

Blow two chances to turn an early turnover into 7-0 right off the bat. Missed tackles. Overthrows. Busted coverages. The usual.

On cue, Sumlin blames his freshman quarterback.

Summary: Some sanctimonious bullshite about a "freshman quarterback making freshman mistakes".

Sucks. A&M should wipe the floor with the Mississippi schools. MSU is a joke.

I've said before and I'll say it again: We collectively deserve this.

Until we start developing standards, we have nobody to blame but ourselves. We've tolerated losing for so long that it's just part of who we are now. Gameday in college station is about hanging out and drinking beer and oh yeah there's a football game we're gonna lose.

It's goddamn frustrating

Motivated by avoiding embarrassment, not by winning.

This was the first of the games down the stretch where improvement had to be shown in order for Sumlin to stick around. And we came out and got flat smoked at home. DGAF that the QB is a fish. These are his guys on both sides of the ball. And at the very least, no unranked team (ESPECIALLY not one from Mississippi) should walk into Kyle Field and have their way with us.

Beat us worse than Bama did. How in the frick do you get up enough to play the Tide but can't take care of business vs. State? Makes no sense. When there are inconsistencies this glaring, that's coaching.

I don't expect to play for a natty every year. Or even most years. I DO, however, expect us to be competitive game in and game out. I DO expect us to be formidable at home. I DO expect us to take care of business vs. unranked teams.

Games like last night shouldn't happen by anyone's standard in this program. Not at this stage in Sumlin's tenure. Can't happen. Can't have it.

Trending the opposite direction on offense. Normally offenses stay the same or get a little better as the season goes on barring any major injuries to key players. Not sure I have ever seen anything quite like this.

33 total offensive yards in the first half. Actually amazing that it was only 14 - 0 at half.
