all i want the program to focus on currently is winning more than 8 games. sips can wait until we decide it's the right time. honestly, i don't miss the game.

when it does eventually come back it sure AF better be played at Kyle and their shite stadium. if our numbnuts in charge set it up at jerry world or reliant or some other neutral site shite i'll be pissed. frick jerry jones.

Honestly, I miss the game. I don't feel a genuine hatred for any team we play in the SEC. I want a game like that again.

However, unless Texas made some huge concessions I don't think it's in our best interests at this time.

Being a second gen Ag, that was the one aspect of our move that I thought would bother me the most.

I haven't missed it one little bit.

In the past, I'd really only get amped for the t.u. game. Beating baylor was expected, and beating tech always welcome, but t.u. was THE game.

Now I get amped for a lot more games on our schedule every year. Bama. LSU. Auburn. Cross division matchups like UT and Florida. It's been terrific.

Agree with you also.

However, the "poll" seems to be closer than I thought it would be.

You do realize that other fan bases like LSU are voting in the poll

I agree as well, but bringing back to game would just be one more game to look forward too. One less ULaLa.

"NO. Let them stew in the disaster of their own making. Shortsighted blowhards."

agreed ... We don't need them.

I don't care about all the rustled feelings on both sides or even which program stands to gain what. The state of Texas should have this game.

I honestly feel this sort of Ole Army "we should do it the hard way for the sake of doing it the hard way because that is the right thing to do" attitude is a huge part of the reason we so greatly underperform as a college football program. It is the same sentiment that gets some Aggies all excited about the Junction Boys because the Bear put them through North Korea-style torture DESPITE the fact that said torture didn't produce almost any positive results on the field that year.

Every top program in the sport takes EVERY advantage they can to better themselves up to (and beyond) the edge of cheating, yet some Aggies want to hand Texas a recruiting windfall (via a home game people give a shite about) because of some bullshite excuse that the "state of Texas" deserves it. I say frick the fricking the State of Texas that is full of T-Shirt sips the moment they are halfway good, we need to do what is best for the Texas Aggies.

As far as I am concerned the SEC move was the first thing I have seen from our leadership in forever that showed we can not cut our dicks off just because non-Aggies think we need to cut our dicks off. If we allow Texas to get the game back because they yell "Are you chicken McFly?!?!" then we deserve the shite caste in the college football pecking order we seem to be locked into.

I’m tired of this coming up every single year. The rivalry is dead, they need us a hell of a lot more than we need them, and more importantly frick them.

If people need to see that game played so damn much, then go buy NCAA Football 14 and play it yourself.

I'm not at all convinced that they really want to play us. IMO, this is all designed to change the narrative away from them being the ones that refused to play us. They want to make it look like we are now the ones refusing to play them. I firmly believe that if Scott Woodward and Greg Sankey called tu and Bob Bowlsby and said, "Let's talk," then all of this would die down.

They really don't want to play us, they just want the appearance of wanting to play us.

If we want to reconsider 10-20 years from now they need to come on their knees publicly apologizing and begging
