the highs have been higher, but the lows have been lower.

A&M accomplished new feats in all 3 sports, both positive and negative.

I'm going to roll with Sarge's season thread for this year instead of the experiment we had last year, I think that works for everyone.

At some point I need to get back to Aggieland. I haven't been back since I graduated, '16. I keep thinking I'll do it when SC is town or if some other opportunity arises. But I basically go to 1 away SC game a year and try to knock off all the unique ones...i.e., ones we only go to once every ~10 years based on how scheduling is done now...so A&M has been off the list since it's every other year still (And I went to several when I was in school there).

How’s the optimism around the upcoming year?

In Sellers we trust basically. It’s hard for me to keep up with rosters these days. There’s just so much movement now it’s impossible to say if we’ve built on last year or not. I haven’t really followed recruiting either.

I’m still pissed we don’t have UGA, UF, or UT. Win, lose, or draw, it’s absurd we basically have an SEC W schedule.

The scheduling thing is a cluster. We entered the SEC in 2012 and Georgia has never been to Kyle Field? Nuts. Etc.

I’m pumped we decided SC will be the home game we come to this year.

It really is such a mess. Maybe it's because I was younger and more invested or it's just because rosters and schedules seem to be so random, but I used to be able to name every player and used to know which teams were going to be on the schedule (and for many their specific week was set. Besides just Clemson, we very much had a UGA week, a UT week, and a UF week) for years and years out because I simply had the rotation memorized. Now, I really have no idea is on the roster or what the schedule will look like. So I guess I just sit down every year, see who's next and hope we win.

Agreed with you on UGA. There's is 0 excuse for something like that to occur, or for 10 year gaps to play any opponent at home or away.

Okay boys - sorry to ruin the fun, but I got word from the powers that be on the website to shutdown the football megathread we got. Well, we got somewhere

The powers that be want weekly threads or daily threads instead of the megathreads. I'll keep the recruiting thread at the top, this'll be huge for the two of you that didn't want a megathread in the first place. I think I'll not do what I did last season and just let the people discuss what they want. Hopefully this generates more activity.

How is a 90 day old thread with only 25 pages a mega thread?

We just don’t have much participation on our board. I feel like we’re gonna have a ton of threads with less than 20 comments.

No other sec fanbase other than LSU (this website)has anything close to TexAgs, that’s the reality.

That’s exactly what’s going to happen.
