Looch is super sensitive and pretty damn douchey.....but he's catering to a ridiculously capricious clientele that is also pretty damn douchey. Throw in the fact that Aggies are super engaged when it comes to football, a sport in which we underachieve with metronomic regularity, and you can see how it's a match made in hell that is damn near guaranteed to go south pretty quickly.
"Blue stars" quip aside, I can't really disagree with his take too much. For better or worse, the Aggie market has decided that his site is the go-to. He's going to run it as he sees fit. He doesn't have to take guff off folks, and they don't have to go to him for their info.
I don't hate TexAgs. I wouldn't have a job if it weren't for TexAgs' existence. I just won't participate in the toxic stuff that goes down over there. Not worth it. Nobody wins.

I don’t think anyone is denying he can do as he sees fit. I just find it funny that he acts towards his customers and employees in a way that would be entirely unacceptable in ANY other professional arena. His position lacks any type of board oversight and the other co-owner can’t fire him.
And all this from a guy who lacks any marketable skills, whose mother still manages his finances and who has almost no impact on the content of the product he owns.

Disrespect? What the frick have he or his sycophantic minions done to earn respect from anyone?
Like I said earlier, stack his credentials up against any of ours and he comes up short.
The way to truly get rid of him is for one of us to have a blue chip son and tell the site that if they want any contact with him, pubes has to go.

We have forced 4 total turnovers and committed 12.
And I think this is the single stat we can look at that best explains why we are 5-4 instead of 7-2 or maybe even 8-1....and that’s with a pretty meh roster. That’s why I’m not worried about jimbo. All I care about is the recruiting class, and finishing the season strong enough to land the recruiting class.
Anyone know what kind if typical turn over margin Elko’s defenses have produced in the past?

Notre Dame
2017: 50th in turnovers forced, 46th in turnover margin
Wake Forest
2016: 10th in turnovers forced, 18th in turnover margin
2015: 122nd in turnovers forced, 120th in turnover margin
2014: 74th in turnovers forced, 76th in turnover margin
Bowling Green
2013: 60th in turnovers forced, 19th in turnover margin
2012: 57th in turnovers forced, 43rd in turnover margin
2011: 105th in turnovers forced, 117th in turnover margin
2010: 18th in turnovers forced, 71st in turnover margin
2009: 80th in turnovers forced, 36th in turnover margin
It's looking like Elko Defenses are either feast or famine when it comes to turnovers.

Oh yeah, for sure. I'm just saying it's a weird arena to begin with.

All true. Makes me jealous and also kinda not jealous

If you aren’t going to pressure the passer with aggressive blitzing like Chavis, forcing lots of turnovers requires great edge rushers and ballhawks.

Yes, but you'd figure at some point the law of averages would dictate that the numbers would even out in our favor.
Here's a short list of turnovers that should have been that weren't:
Clemson - Ball goes right through Kingsley Keke's hands that would have and should have been a pick 6.
Clemson - Referee blows the whistle on a backwards pass that Keke returns for a touchdown
Arkansas - Ball goes right through Wilson's hands and into the arms of an Arkansas receiver for their final touchdown
Auburn - Fumbled kickoff bounces off Gillaspea and into the arms of the returner

I think the melting on our board is getting out of control
Y’all need to disengage like me

Easy for you to say. You went to bed 8 hours after the game was over. I still had 20 hours to stew on it.

LOOOOOCH is still all sorts of butt hurt about texags posters this morning on the radio. He's spent the majority of this segment complaining about posters, and doing his tough guy routine. Occasionally he talks about football.

This board is at its worst when instead of trolling other fanbases, collecting info from other sites that are relevant to A&M sports, or actually talking football, we're melting or mocking A&M insiders from other boards.

I find Liucci’s tantrums incredibly enjoyable

He makes himself a target with the way he reacts. If he didn’t nuclear melt down at this stuff all over his own board like he did this weekend and has before it wouldn’t happen as often.

sports & message boards are entertainment. liucci is prime entertainment, especially when he's huffin' & puffin'.

So I've heard from a reliable source who is connected to TexAgs founders that Sumlin rumors of being an alcoholic are true. Like, wake up and pour a big arse drink true. Daily.
Apparently he sold John Chavis with a lot of talk, then hardly ever spoke with him once he got to campus.
Sumlin has some serious personal problems.
