I think the best thing is that apparently the Aggie fans threw pictures of Schloss into the urinals for everyone to piss on. Some funny ones too including a picture of him eating a banana

Earley is learning how to be a coach. Now need to fix the pitching but that offense. Man, the offense

Pitching staff actually stepped up this weekend and did a good job. Still plenty of room for improvement but we got to see a flash of what this team can do when it’s firing on all cylinders

Is it terrible that I somehow really want the sweep?

Not at all, but it’s most likely not going to happen. Volantis is a really good pitcher. I’d be beyond impressed if they found a way to sweep, but even if they don’t it’s still a massive success of a weekend and hopefully a turning point in Earleys coaching career

2-0 handing the #2 (cough cough) team 2 losses with one being a complete blowout

I’ll take it

Wish we would’ve got to play game 3 but oh well. #10 in the rankings today, hopefully they can keep rolling

I think Earley needs to learn consistency. He and his team perform well against the elite teams, but then inexplicably lose to lesser teams. I think that is a learning and motivation process.

Earley also needs to find a pitching coach that can take the staff from decent to elite

I think we are fighting an uphill battle on pitchers for the moment, and that is while we are getting facilities finished out. Look at our stats and we're not issuing many walks. Certainly the 2 strike meatballs are infuriating but they seem to lead to more often than not, solo HRs. Definitely needs to improve....

We might have also seen this year's staff start hitting a groove. We need a couple of guys to find their mojo, because the offense is there. I know a lot of folks bag on Kelly but the guy has been national assistant of the year. So is it the coaching or is it the talent? And it does feel at times like we're having to ride with a Johnny Fullstaff scenario night in and night out.

This season feels like some of Coach Johnson's teams in the 80s. Teams that could mash but always seemed to be an arm or two short. And given the injuries and departures we're a number of potential arms short this season.
