Elko has shown the ability to move on from players and coaches before. He will do so without costing Marcel’s ability to play for another team. I trust Elko to know what to do until he shows otherwise

We talked about Elko having having some credit in his account with the moves he made up until this offseason, well not bringing in a QB via the portal to push Reed, and hiring two coordinators that have never been the head guys despite having an open check book burned right through all that credit in my eyes.

I just don’t think scheme and play calling have been this team’s weak points. And I don’t know how our OC and DC do on the development side.

Yeah his career has been so frustrating. He's struggled to be anything close to the 5 star label put on him, and just as he's finding a role, it all goes away in a moment

Sucks that we both lost last week and lost key players. TreyDez Green is out the next few weeks. Spears out for the season. OL sucks. We’ll see if Baker finally has an answer for Reed.

Stop with the recruit talk. It does not matter that we lose a few or more recruits who won't play for two years anyway. And now there is NIL and the portal. A team can be built like Kiffen builds a team. Some teams rebuild every year.

Portal guys wanting make it to the league aren't coming in to play for these coaches. Did you just compare a coach on our staff to Kiffen?
