I made an assload of undefeated threads back in 15 or 16 when we started like 25-0. Should I bring that back?

Schloss is awesome. Love him. Elite coach. But he needs to work on our schedules. I don’t need a bunch of world beaters but Wagner is 0-11 and Rhode Island is like 2-9. We can’t have these guys ruining our RPI when we’re fighting for a top 8 seed.

I do wish we had at least one other big weekend nonconference series/tournament. I’m guessing they were expecting more from the DFW classic but I doubt either of those teams end up being worth a shite
On a separate note with Texas a conference series next year I wouldn’t mind us replacing them with Tech as a yearly midweek game. Really solid program and a historical rival

tech is probly too far for just 1 game, though they could do a set. really no reason to not be playing tcu and baylor every year though

I want DBU on the schedule.
However, they currently have home-home (midweek) games with OU, OSU, BU, & TCU. They may not be starving for our big name and I doubt we want to give them a home game.

Baylor on the schedule makes sense. Perhaps home and home during the season. Both sides would have a full house.

Kinda to be expected after 5 games in 6 days but proud of the boys for fighting. They could’ve easily let this one get away and rolled over. To me it shows they’re some competitors

26-0 in 1989. It was the best team we ever had finishing #2 in the polls despite not making the CWS.

After the 26-0 start in 1989 they lost to Oklahoma St. and then ran off another 14 game winning streak.

Yeah that’ll be hard to top lol all we gotta do is sweep Florida, State and Auburn plus our mid weeks and we’re golden

'89 was just mentioned but let us not forget about 2015. We won our first 24, I believe. That was the year we got screwed out of a super, went to TCU, and lost in like 16 innings on the Monday final. 50-14 (18-10)
I wouldn't worry about the streak. Its fun, but we're not going undefeated. We will lose a bunch of games because everyone loses a bunch of games.
We need to try and get as many games at Olson in June and play our best ball at the end.

I just thought it would be fun to see how far off we are. We’re gonna stumble at some point, that’s just baseball
