Mack was doing drills in the video, Garrett is just nicked up and they're holding out as a precaution. Alaka we know about the elbow and tmc94 said he may not miss any games.
theyre being bussey along slow still from his injury last year. Don't know anything about RSJ but he's been having a great camp so maybe they just have him a break to heal up dings and bruises?

In the update It said RSJ was in full pads, they just wanted to go with two backs instead (White and Carson). Also said Mack was in full pads

They had some walk on WR I've never heard of rolling with the second team so I wouldn't read too much into what the lineups were

That is what happens when you try to post and give your little girl a bath. I apologize gents. Maybe if we had a half decent mod they would move my erratic post.

Pretty shitty on our part if the below is true from Justin Madubuike.

quote:

“I talk to Charlie Strong all the time,” Madubuike said. “He’s a great coach and a great motivator. He has great people around him. They got great players like Malik Jefferson, DeAndre McNeal and Charles Omenihu. All these guys are showing me love on Twitter, too. UT is a great school and a school I look forward to seeing again.”

His visit to Texas took place in late July. Madubuike also made stops at Baylor, TCU and Texas A&M, but he admitted that Texas might have been his favorite. “The visit was really nice,” Madubuike said. “I felt a personal connection.

At A&M, it was more gold, bells and diamonds. At UT, it was more like family. I felt something personal there. I ate lunch with Malik Jefferson and all the coaches. It felt like family. It was absolutely a great visit. It was probably my best visit.”

He loses all credibility with this statement

I don't think that's shitty. We showed off our new facilities?

I guess I would rather he had said more than just we have nice facilities. This is coming from a tu sports recruiter so there is now telling if he cut something out to make tu look better.

Am I the only one getting nervous about our '16 and '17 classes? Is this a function of our having progressively worse records the last two years or having new coaches who have to build relationships or both (or something else, like TCU/Baylor success)? I had expected to see a bump due to the amazing facilities coming online. Please give me something to stop my pre-melt........

I'm pumped about this year, and all the talent (AND THE COACHING!), but was hoping to see more Aggie recruiting dominance for the coming years. Right now we seem to be trailing UT, TCU, and Baylor by a significant margin when looking at the 247 composites for the upcoming two years (Baylor getting a huge bump for their '17 class, which is a long ways off). Also seems SEC West foes are having a lot of success for '16/17 in state compared to years past.

I don't follow the irons in the fire to know if this is simply a function of timing (IE, our holding out for higher-level recruits) or if we're simply getting beaten and was hoping you guys could weigh in....

We've reached the point where talk is cheap. We need to execute on the field for recruiting momentum to continue

THANKS! The Vegas kid, right? That is the kind of stuff I was looking for.....haven't kept up as closely as ya'll....hopefully they'll serve as catalysts for the '17 class.

Ya I have read a lot of confident expectations about Martell and we are in his top 5. Anyone know what the other 4 schools are expecting?

What with Allen, Murray & Hubenak currently on the roster, gonna be hard to land another high profile QB. Other schools will have made this point.

Unless he just loves Aggieland, I'm surprised we are really a part of the discussion on this one.

Same here. I'd written him off a long time ago because of our apparent logjam at the position (not a bad position to be in, but hard from a recruiting standpoint).

Would be shocked if we landed him.

I believe one of Murray or Allen will transfer by the beginning of the 2017 season, and possibly by the beginning of next season if Murray wins the job halfway through the season.

We have a real shot with Tate. If we land him we'll be set up well for his 5* WR brother. We'll see tomorrow but USC is the other school who would most likely land him if we don't. Can't remember the last school but I know Washington and bama are two of the others
