I would assume Divinity is an Aggie now too. This makes no sense, no sense at all.

I mean he has to be an Aggie now. Seems dumb to pull this so late, unless he is going to be on tv on NSD just for kicks.

Divinity is an EE so he'll be enrolled well before signing day. He's on tv on Jan 5th for some all-star game

I don't know what's in his head but we've been working him hard and thought we'd flip him eventually. Maybe he just wants to make a tv announcement but it would be incredibly anti-climatic to pick los tigres.

Does the Davis decommit help us with any other prospects? I was thinking of Jack Jones in particular.

Apparently Hansen (JUCO QB) and another highly sought after QB are both ready to jump if Kyler leaves.

If we have someone with experience ready to roll the frick kyler if he doesn't want to stay.

Our offense doesn't take a 5* to run it. We just need a guy who doesn't make mistakes and can throw with some accuracy. (And an OC who can call an actual play)

The problem is Sumlin makes his teams all about the QB and he DOES need a star to succeed. He puts all of theoffensive pressure on his QBs to make plays.

Unless he gets an OC that changes that, Hubenak and some JUCOs/freshman aint gonna cut it.

The offense is QB-friendly, so a star isn't required. But it makes winning am SECW title much more likely.

But even then, we saw a much, much better effort toward running the ball this year (the talent was just subpar) and we have Chavis leading an actual defense.

So I'm not sure how you can say the team is "all about the qb"

Nick Starkel?

I expect him or Jalen Hurts to be on the roster next year

Hubastank
Justice/Trevor
Hurts/Starkel

I've seen worse QB depth charts

Hamm confirmed it's Hurts. Sumlin had an in home visit with him this Sunday (after Kyle transferred).
