Though there has been no confirmation as to why the trip was counted as an official, there have been rumors that it is because the Longhorn staff paid for meals for the players while on campus. During official visits, that is allowed but cannot be done at any other time.

I'll take everything we can get at this point. My hope is that they pushed for them to visit this weekend and now had to pull an about face and explain to them why they can't and it left a bad taste

I think we have a much better shot of sweeping them but I still think we will end somewhere in the middle, like keeping Mack and Murray but maybe not getting Boyd Lodge and Hill.
If they strike out on all these guys and we get Murray Mack Boyd and Hill or all five their tears will be delicious. There will be pay for play accusations everywhere, I will bask in it

They are all convinced he's a lock because his brother is supposedly a lock, even though there's little to suggest that. They're like a disabled athlete trying to sprint again, it's pretty cute. Setting themselves up for such terrible disappointment

We are in the defeated position since several of these guys are former commits or leans. I think many of our fans expect the worst at this point.They have been whipping themselves into a frenzy for the last week since that visit, but if they don't land these guys they just went 6-7 and got owned by Aggy again on the trail.
Even we only get Boyd, we have a solid class coming in and we hired Chief away from LSU. I will be disappointed but they have much more to lose IMO

I still think this lands somewhere in the middle. we keep kyler and end up with daylon and kris boyd. they get Holton hill and a NSD shocker in soso or damarkus
