just fyi, there's always a plan. Sumlin is pretty detailed oriented.
In this case, options have been explored for quite a while. No matter if a guy says he won't consider it, you have to know that if Kyler were the #1 MLB pick, he's gone. You can't control that. You can say it's incredibly unlikely but to not have a plan would be dumb.

I figured they did, I was just interested to hear it. Dormandy had stuck out to me before he was an EE just because Tennessee has like three QBs committed.

It's not optimal but I really do think DCS can be a backup quarterback if called upon. He has a couple issues with mechanics and such but you don't throw for 4000 yards and rush for 1200+ in a season by accident. A lot of people don't like his film but then again, a lot of people bitched and whined last summer because he was too slow in combine workouts. Then all he did was fricking earn the title of being the Louisiana Gatorade player of the year after his senior season. What more does he have to do? I agree his future is corner/nickel back --he's small like kyler, maybe not the strongest arm in the galaxy, but he is accurate and super competitive when he dons pads. He's the kind of kid who understands his shortfalls but makes damn sure he puts in extra time to work on that shite.

Did Kyler decommit and I missed it, why all this bitching and whining all over the place, the kid just had an unofficial visit and the second day said he is still commited to A&M, this is so freaking pathetic from our fan

This board is pretty bad, but looks fantastic compared to the TexAgs premium board. There they've come up with all sorts of explanations for how this could possibly happen (which hasn't happened). The topper for me is Kevin Murray hates Kevin Sumlin. There's no evidence of that that I'm aware of, but hey... it could be true so let's all lose our shite about it.
