I would put all my chips on Murray already giving Strong a silent commit, in the presence of his dad. Keep it on the down low until NSD so that they don't have to deal with the backlash from aggy. No way this would be revealed by anyone out of respect for the Murrays. Let the good times roll, Charlie's got this.

If nobody is going to reveal it out of respect for the Murrays why the hell would it be leaked on Shaggy?

That's not inside info, just arrogance masking desperate hope from the shaggsters. Their M.O. is supreme confidence right up until the moment of public failure/rejection.

So funny because I remember fatty criticizing Kylers passing game earlier in the year. Now he's their savior

I have always been the biggest fan of Kyler Murray's game. I always thought Luke Joeckel would be a superstar at LT. Finally, we have always been at war with Eurasia.

Sips are really hyping up that Murray's dad can't stand Sumlin....that's the lifeline they are clinging onto when it comes to justifying reason that they can flip KM. Even taking it to the point to where Murray and Sumlin got in argument on Kylers OV. Sounds like a bunch of hearsay but there is a little smoke to this with a few tweets from Kevin over the course of the season and last month...I hope that is all overblown bs but who the frick knows really?

I really enjoy following recruiting.

That said, this 2015 class is really driving me away from it. When recruits act like this, it's a great reminder that they're 18 year olds

Supposedly Liucci said on the radio that Strong's main pitch to Kyler is that he is GUARANTEED the starting spot.

If so, that is Grade-A desperation. It would be an incredibly shitty thing to do to Heard, who hasn't been given a chance. And a pretty crappy move from even Swoopes's standpoint.

On top of a slap in the face for the two current QBs already commited for 2015.

That's assuming that he's actually guaranteed the starting spot. There's nothing stopping Strong from walking that back any time after NSD, like during fall practice when Kyler, as talented as he is, will look like a true fish.

Agreed. I am past caring at this point about this. I enjoy the aspect of recruiting with finding underrated talent and kids developing connections with a school, but this part drives me nuts.

I can't imagine my job partially hinging on stuff like this, makes me understand why guys leave for the NFL and never turn back

If Strong guaranteed Kyler the starting spot, I think he would only do so if he were prepared to go through with it. At least let Kyler start until he proves he can't perform as a true fish. If he DIDN'T follow through, I think the backlash would be enormous. His rep in recruiting would take a huge hit.
