Let's play a quick game. Who are YOUR top 3 targets remaining in this class.
To me the clear #1 is Malik Jefferson. Then after than Id lean DB. Sheffield is the highest rated and my pick but Hill, Elam, and Boyd are all studs. I wouldn't fault ranking any of them higher personally. My #3 is Kirk. I know were stacked at WR, but I think this kid is as just a step behind Spoedy. LSU he has great chemistry with Kyler already.

Exact same order for me as well. Kirk would be number one if we weren't so stacked at WR cause his film is so damn impressive.

How good his Kendall Sheffield at football? Have never watched his tape.
Is he simply a great athlete or does he have good football instincts as well?

he's pretty darn good. He's track fast but has pretty decent football instincts as well. I think he's still a bit raw though as his technique is rough at times.
It may be as simple as he isn't challenged and so hasn't had to improve it. His ability to outrun, out accelerate, and change direction simply is unrivaled on the high school level. I think with good coaching, he's going to be an Aaron Glenn type (too old for y'all?) with more size. He's that kind of athlete.

247 came out with their new rankings, dropped Lodge to a 4*. Looks like they also dropped Siverand down to a 3*

Lodge is the TOP 4 star on 247 though. Kirk is the 2nd highest rated 4-star

I think it's funny how caught up we get in the recruiting rankings and what star a guys is. I myself am very guilty.
At the end of the day, the ranking of a player is solely optics. At least, that's what I tell myself

247 rankings, not the composite. They list him as a 3* with an 88 ranking.

Weird. Composite he is a top 25 player at his position. But 247 doesn't even have him as a top 50 player at his position.

Was also surprised by the "lack" of a jump by Justin Dunning. Really thought after his performance that he would by a top 100 player.

Oh.... looks like G247 called Kris Boyd an Aggie commit. Kris Boyd didn't take too kindly to it. Hopefully this doesn't go over as poorly as the bathroom incident with Parker.
