No worries. I'm putting SafetySam on a flight tonight. He'll be our starting pitcher tomorrow.

What a crazy game.

Hell of a game today. We came back from 0-5, 9-13, and 12-14. The team never gave up. I think we take the series tomorrow and almost guarantee a national seed.

At least I caught some sun today. A surprising number of Carolina fans were there.

I think 18-12 is expecting too much. I think anything above .500 would be a plus at this point. Our hitting has cooled way off and we just lost our ace. I think something like 16-14 in conference & 6-2 in OOC. That would put us 40 wins and probably good enough to host a regional.

I would be okay with 16-14. My goal really is for us to host a regional, so whatever gets us to that. Outside of LSU most of the really strong programs in the west are down this year so I was setting my expectations a little higher. Anything below 500 would be pretty disappointing I think

I think it is safe to say we met and exceeded our expectations no matter how the last 5 games play out.

definitely. This team has been a fun one. I'm still not seeing the pitching needed to get us to Omaha but they aren't going to quit, that's for sure.

We can't keep grinding the bullpen like this though. I keep hoping one of the starters will find form and suddenly go on a run to give the bullpen a chance. The talent is definitely there so I'm not ruling it out.
