I think Gruden would be a better hype/PR machine and could win big here but I do think Petersen would be the better long-run hire if we could get him.

VF30, have you heard anything about a possible press conference being setup on Sunday?
I've never had any information to bring to this board in the 6 years that I've been on here, but I know someone that maintains the field/football complex that I spoke with today. I found out that he was told to be ready to head into work on Sunday to take care of prepping for a press conference Sunday morning unless something changes. That being said, I don't know if the actual press conference itself will fall on Sunday or if they're getting it setup for a Monday/Tuesday PC. I didn't press him for the info because I could tell that he wasn't very comfortable talking about it. It was clear that his boss made a big point that he wasn't to let any information out with the search. Either way, it sounds like something could be happening fairly soon and he thought that it would be very positive.

I'm hesitant to say this because it probably means absolutely nothing, but when I brought Gruden up, this son of a bitch started grinning from ear to ear and then just said that he couldn't say anything else.

It's 100% Gruden, and most people aren't tracking on this, but I'll tell you why.
When I think of Gruden being our coach, as opposed to the other guys that are being rumored, Gruden makes me happier. Thus. It has to be Gruden

According to LWS, the media has been told to keep Sunday open.

At this point I could see either Gruden or Mullen being announced on Sunday. I want Grudon, but I will not be surprised by Mullen

LWS thinks it's Petersen and when asked about odds/percent on that he said he didn't really think about it that way but gave it 60%. If you know LWS (doomsayer extraordinaire) that's an insanely positive post from him.
I don't know what the hell is going on but if LWS is saying Petersen there's a ton of smoke.
