The star is for the time they beat Alabama in the last quarter century.

They removed the “T” after Texas took their manhood.

Per the inter webs, the helmets are to replicate leather helmets with no logo and the star is to honor General Neyland.

Still ugly as frick.

Those TN unis are pretty hideous. Ours today might be worse

I’d like to know as well. I like the helmets and overall color scheme/uniform combo.

None of them can write, so its like they each have their signature on their helmets.

The entire uniform and field design are paying homage to Neyland and his taking over the program 100 years ago. The helmets are meant to look like the helmets worn during much of his time as coach.

Tennessee has a little girl syndrome that is seldom diagnosed and treated.

They are dumb arse reneck hillbilly losers.

Hope this helps.

That's actually pretty cool.

I read this morning that is the design of the 1939 helmet when they went undefeated and unscored on.

I like when programs pay homage to its roots. One of my favorites from another program. Well done Vols!!!

Tennessee’s uniforms are the ugliest in all of sports.
