Nice to only have two penalties and win the turnover margin. Hard for us to do that against air, so I’ll take it.

This game has me slightly more optimistic about next week. Aggies looked like shite today.

We simply don't have the players, or coaches for that matter, to handle a college playoff team. Against lesser mortals we look a bit better. I still hate our offensive scheme.

Only team I would even optimistically say we could beat at this time is South Carolina. But I doubt even that.

Same, too bad we couldn't find some way to keep BP. Cramsey just doesn't have the creative playcalling and design that gives Arkansas an offense with an edge, it's very bland in an attempt to be "efficient" and safe.
Most of our yardage came on big chunk plays tonight, that won't happen against bigger and faster SEC defenses. So our "efficient" offense isn't even really working as designed in that way since we can't run the ball.
I really like the defense though. They're not elite by any means but they play hard as hell, get after the ball, and have some fire. Joker and Bogle are both highlights, great pickups. Defense not being a massive weakness is a nice change of pace

We left a lot of points on the field and but for Marshall going ham it would have been much closer. I'm still baffled by our offensive play calling. Do we have a shot? Yeah, sure, A&M looks shaky at the moment and they could be on the verge of a collapse.
But until we get the running game settled down (hint: lead blocker) I'm not super confident about anything.

Beamer might be fired by the time we play them. Vandy is much closer to their old form than their last season, Auburn only managed to beat that Vandy team by 6 at home tonight, and the wheels are falling off at A&M
I'm definitely not counting any of those as wins, but they won't be blowout losses and we actually have a chance at making some of them a ballgame. KJ has to massively work on his accuracy somehow, and Cramsey has to figure out how to run the ball successfully with what pieces we've got on hand. Even if it takes converting someone to FB and using your TEs, his offense has to have that threat to work at all against decent defenses (which is why he was able to have success against us last year)

I'm trying to figure out how Okie Lite lost to this team, then went and beat Oregon.
2nd string QB I realize, but we really controlled the line of scrimmage and I actually saw a push couple times on running plays that went for 4 or 5 yards.
I was sure Tulsa was going to be a tougher out than they were.

A&M will come out pissed off next week and probably give us a shellacking, or the wheels might fall off. Really depends how both teams respond, Arkansas got a little confidence boost but the Aggies have by far the more talented roster. It could get ugly
The key for Arkansas getting any more win(s) will be shaking off the losses and continuing to build on the positives. Because we're gonna take some bad losses, but there's a few winnable games there if we don't give up and implode like years past
