I mean it’s true. Whether you like the vols or not. There was not a single camera angle that even showed that he wasn’t short much less a definite angle of him getting the first down. Horns probably sneak it and still score but that was a screw job

The SEC continues to operate behind closed doors during replay reviews instead of adopting the ACC's open-booth broadcasts because conference leadership argues that existing tracking and technology already provide enough accountability

SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey has stated that while the league values accountability, there are practical boundaries to how much of the officiating process should be broadcasted.
Existing accountability: Sankey points out that the SEC reviews all referee performance internally every week and notes that officials are already under constant public scrutiny on the field.

I think he made the first down since he only had to break the plane of the back of the line. It was close, but I think he got there.
I wish they had shown view from the camera in the first down marker (there is one in the pylon marker that could see between the official's legs.)
The SEC should allow us into the discussion so that everyone can see the camera angles the refs are actually using to make those decision.
