This is a form of psychosis, you know.
No it’s not. It’s witnessing something so blatant and obvious, while the rest of the world turns their eyes because it wasn’t their team that night.
Kentucky lost that game by 2TDs with refs not being influenced.

The best part of the 3rd penalty where Tennessee cost themselves a TD was the TN Band starting to play the fight song and then having it fade our after they see the flag.

If it were blatant and obvious then the fans of neither team would have noticed it, and not just the aggrieved fans of the that ended up losing.

This Ref epidemic has been bad for 10 years now
It is so blatant now though, I’m wondering if the entire SEC office is in on it.
No shite
I will also go so far as to say LSU has no shot against Bama because the SEC office is Bama’s Grandpa and they also now hate LSU with every fiber of their being.

Are you raising a LSU Grads child? It’s so funny how much hate you have for LSU.

LSU always on your mind? It’s ok little man. It’s good to be envious

I know this is WAY and I mean WAY overused but sometimes the Ref mistakes are egregious by the same token, so it can’t be totally ignored either. I floated something out last night that might be a pseudo solution for the time being. Bear with me please on this…
I’m not being a Bama crybaby here with what I’m bringing up either but in the Bama/UGA game there were some pretty bad holding calls missed on both sides. Those were at least being called/not called rather equitably. However the four plays Alabama fans point out that were rather obvious, and I’d say game changing missed calls…in particular the no call on the PI at the end…those were outliers and NOT being flagged equitably. Further displayed by a much less blatant PI call on Dijon Lee moments before the no call against UGA. The disparity in those penalties given and not given was what frustrated Bama fans the most.
That said, some games have more blown calls than others. Coaches should get a Challenge System that can be used a time or two in each half similar to what has been done already with a HUGE difference of allowing for penalties, called and not called, to be reviewable. That makes complete sense. Why is it that we can review a 10 yard pass completion to see if a WR caught a first down but not review where a WR gets mugged in the end zone on a crucial play that has a much greater impact on the game seemingly than a pedestrian type reception . That makes zero sense, like beyond zero. If the “spirit of the game” for having replay in the first place is to get shite right as a safety net…WTF are we doing leaving a HUGE hole in that net by only allowing targeting to be reviewed??? I don’t understand this.
I’m also reiterating that this doesn’t need to be where every other play is being reviewed but a challenge or two allowed on blown penalty calls, whether something was flagged or not, is not a huge ask but it CAN cut down on some of these monumental frick ups we see by the Refs as well. Just an idea that seems to make a lot of sense to me on the surface.

Chase? Ohhh. You mean all those football and baseball national championships? Yeah we are envious.

There were legit missed/bullshite calls in that game, hell, refs even admitted it -
It feels better to say refs fricked us, but the reality is - they don’t see everything - and have to think they are trying their best to call a good clean game- some just suck at it.
We can say the “tush push” score, or the false start - but if we are honest with ourselves - ain’t like they were gifted scores - let’s not forget about how they got down there - meaning moving the ball effectively on us.
In my minds eye - lsu should not have even been in a position to have to worry about a missed call. They didn’t play well and Kentucky did -

In every game, close nail biter or boat raced blow out, there are a handful, maybe 10 or so, plays that define the win or loss. There are 3 units on the field that can impact the game, both teams and the officials. Those handful of plays that make an impact usually involve one of those three entities making a mistake. That is the foundation of the game. The officials are as part of the game. They are the least prepared and qualified “team” in the field and therefore prone to horrendous mistakes. When your team is unable to distance themselves from their shitty officiating your team is vunerable to them making shitty calls. Would that they were at least as prepared as Ball State against Alabama but they aren’t and it is becoming apparent they aren’t for a reason…. It’s a multi billion $ a year industry with 1/3 of the labor intentionally inept. It’s either utter mismanagement or gambling.

After yesterday's loss and then the fans rushing the field last weekend, its clear Bama was UTK's super bowl. UTK could lose the rest of their games and it wouldn't matter because they have a 1 game winning streak over Bama.

It’s not just an sec problem the past few years even outside the sec has seen some hot garbage, this years byu/nd, byu/ucf, Mich/west Mich, Miami/fsu, even 24 cam ward Miami were protected from three losses(vt, cal, and can’t really remember the others)
