No jewelry, crowns or championships- Just stolen banners and chest puffing… but hey they never lose the party.

Don't kick the hicks while they're down

Only 30 years? I’d have bet it was more like 70. Don’t remember Ole Miss being anything more than a middle of the pack or worse SEc program.

Ole Miss could indeed beat UGa in a few weeks. I am not sure what that has to do with Ole Miss having been a middle of the pack SeC team their entire history. It’d take what, 20 seasons like the last few for Ole Miss to reach Auburn status in the conference? The OP is about it being the best era in 30 years for Ole Miss….it seems more like about 70 or so. Beating UGa this year won’t change that….when did Ole Miss last win the sEC? Kentucky has won it more recently…..

It’s been 63 years and counting since Ole Miss won the SEC.

I wouldn’t be. Oklahoma and Florida came back on us in the second half too…. And won. It’s not an impressive feat.

Auburn won a championship and played for another. Ole Miss will never approach Auburn.

That’s great info but I’m more about the moment and the future. You build off every year. Proud of Ole Miss and excited about future. Your points are well taken and true but they don’t bother or frustrate me

Ole Miss has taken almost as long between their last conference title as Florida took to win their first. No feelings about it, it’s just a fact. Ole Miss is middle of the pack Sec program. Always have been.

You shouldn’t be. Pete Golding is your coach. I hate to say I told you but he sucks with Chambliss. When he is gone…..well I hate to say it but I told ya. That’s why yall had a hissy arse bitch fit when Lane left. You know what’s coming. We all do.

My 84 year old father was 21 at the time. I got to watch a game with him last week.
If your dad is still alive, watch a game with him. One day you won’t be able to.

And 2026 might be their last chance to finally get to Atlanta.

No concerns at all with Pete! He has been amazing in his short time as head coach! Much better than I was expecting after the way lane quit on the team last season! Phenomenal job and so excited for future! I know it pains you to here that
