What a sack of shite. Typical Aggie.
Guaranteed he told the usc player “you’re lucky you play football boy.”

I ageee he shouldn’t be fired for it however.

I'm a retired MP. I see someone acting out like that (and I have) I tell him to immediately report to the armory, turn in your weapon, and see me in the morning, because you are in the wrong line of work.

As a Texan I’m sad that it was a State Trooper.

He need to sit a desk for a while. That just isn’t acceptable.

I'm just arguing that ruining a man's life because he was a dick in an emotional moment, briefly, does not qualify for firing him.

He carries a weapon and gas that little emotional control. He needs to be fired.

Oh good God.

Get a fresh tampon.

Suspend the guy for a week and sit him at a desk for a few months. He didn't kill somebody.

What would be the grounds for firing him?

Yes.

If he can't handle his emotions at a football game, how would he react in a serious LEO enforcement situation, like active shooter?

Not worth the liability to have a hot head on the force.

Completely uncalled for.

Maybe a psych evaluation - but most definitely lose his game day privileges.

If a non-LEO were walking in a tight space towards 3 troopers, elbow checked one and then turned around pointing and hollering at another, we’d be in cuffs.
