Thanks for the deep insight. Being an Arkansas fan is wallowing in misery. Last time I actually specifically sat down with the intention to watch an entire Arkansas game was 2023 vs. Alabama. We haven't beaten them since 2006 and I thought we had at least a fighting chance so why not, wasn't awful, sort of respectable performance in defeat.

It's been a horrible run for over a decade and it's not even worth watching, just a fan from being born into it and being masochistic enough. From what I can tell the crowd that shows up for games is largely classic "wine and cheese" other than students. There's zero positive momentum. Sad state of affairs.

If I were an offensive lineman I’d be looking over my shoulder. Especially the 2 tackles. Also didn’t show any vertical passing game which might have softened up the defense for the run game.

no.. it’s just logic. By definition. That’s what logic is. If I say we aren’t any good. And you say no you don’t know that, you are implying we are good. And if not, then you agree and why are you arguing?

Judging by everyone else's performances against their cupcakes and Baylor/Clemson, we are by far the worst team in the SEC. And frankly it's not even close week 1.

CRS has his work cut out for him.

They should have destroyed this team.

Well, you are correct. I’m not saying anyone’s wrong because no one KNOWS anything beyond the past, which has sucked, and today. It’s a little early to blanket say we suck again, IMO. The team may put things together, they may not. My premise is, while there were a lot of things to be concerned about, I’m not throwing in the towel just yet with a new coach at the helm of an almost completely new team.

As to the rest, I couldn’t care less about the uniforms. My daughters are grown and I have 5 grandkids who unfortunately are being raised to be LSU fans (fortunate for them I guess). My son is also grown and never been in band. Can’t drink because I’m at work. Maybe if I was drinking, I’d be ready to jump off the ledge too but I’m not. I will admit that I only general make one to two games a year and otherwise watch from home when I’m not working. I don’t like people enough to make it a social event.

I do care, I’d guess every bit as much as you or anyone else does. I am long past the throwing shite at the TV though. I don’t like the direction we’ve been heading for over 15 years either.

And I post because I have an opinion, right or wrong, and just as much right to post it as you do. The difference is, I’m not going to have a knee-jerk reaction based off of today even though I didn’t like a lot of what I saw.

I get it and I’m there with you. I’m frustrated too, especially as I sit here watching LSU dominate Dabo. I’m not ready to give up on Silverfield yet but, I promise, it’s not a long drive for me to go off the cliff.

Arkansas would have been blown out by all the SEC teams today.

It's unreal the lack of talent on this team.
