I see the Petrino lovers are out in full force. He was the head coach, of course he's responsible.

I was wondering why pretty much every single media personality that covers the SEC as a whole in the offseason literally never mentioned Arkansas as if we weren't even in the conference.

I understand why now.

He scored one touchdown last week. 2 field goals and a safety accounted for the rest of their points.

If you don’t like east-west running and passing you’ll never like silver fields offense. That’s the bread and butter get the ball to the perimeter and let them makes plays. It’s why Memphis through the ball 60+ times to the running back last year

I'm old school. I like the Full back position. Nice Tuddy there

You mean Bobby didn't turn around the worst defense in the country when he took over mid season? Talk about washed...

This is a 2-10 team maybe 3-9.

This shouldn't be a surprise that they are struggling.

If KJ continues to stink it up we should say frick it and go with a "building for the future" year with Hank taking his lumps.

We also might need to go shopping for a higher end OC after the season, and not one that's never called or prepped for a game in P4. Although, the playcalls haven't been terrible and we've had WRs open downfield, KJ is just holding the ball way too long and has the yips badly. And this is North Alabama, a team that Silverfield beat 40-0 with Memphis two years ago.

I really like the defense though, they're legit. Lots of pleasant surprises on that side of the ball so far, even though it's lowly North Alabama

Coach Ryan Silverfield:

"What a awful, awful first half offensively.

Probably one of the worst I've been associated with."

He was the OC. He literally had nothing to do with the defensive personnel. You holding him responsible for defensive personnel he didn't recruit and a staff he didn't hire is hilarious.

They should have spent more money for a QB out of the portal.

I would give AJ a little run if KJ doesn't look much better in the first series of this second half. Maybe his familiarity with the offense will prove better during an actual game. Some guys are better in practice than they are in games and vice versa.

If AJ can't move the ball better, I agree, frick it, give the young kid some run.

I projected 1-11 on tRant thread. Unless something changes dramatically, the Tulsa game is now a toss-up.

If nothing changes, we might legitimately be Vegas underdogs going into that game.

He was 18-15 at Missouri State in 3 seasons. He was terrible at Louisville his 2nd go around. He was mediocre as OC at aTm.
He was never the same after the motorcycle incident.

Tulsa is bottling up Mestemaker, imagine what they'll do to us if our oline doesn't improve dramatically. KJ is no Mestemaker by any stretch of the imagination

They have excuses for every one of those things. But won't accept any excuses for anything else. They're idiots.
