Chambliss missed some guys and Duece dropped a key pass, could have been worse. Sam Leavitt can’t throw the ball well.

Your qb sucks. Sorry that you can't see it. He isnt a threat to push the ball downfield. Our D was ok tonight. Yall had missed opportunities.

Congratulations on the win. I’m so happy that is probably the last time LSU ever has to see Trinidad Chambliss. He is a magician.
I also found myself thinking Ole Miss is still really well coached. I think pete is going to be a much bigger success than I originally thought tbh.
As far as Sam Leavitt, it’s really concerning how Lane and Charlie still can’t scheme with his skillset three games in. I hope his leash is shorter than I fear it is.

Couldn’t make up how many guys were open all night and Sam couldn’t get it to anyone. Not sure what else to say.

Short and medium passing is crucial to the Kiffin/Weis scheme. They use it to keep the ball moving without relying on a bunch of deep passes and without leaning too much on the run. Leavitt’s weakest attribute(s) right now is short/medium passing.
He’s a freaking awesome runner though. I think y’all will figure it out over the course of the year. Getting him moving to his right is a recipe for success, I’d anticipate a lot of sprint right and RPO stuff from here on.

Trinidad was the best player on the field tonight. By far. He carried the offense on a night where we really struggled to run the ball.
LSU’s starting RB is a really great player. He kept the ball moving on first and second down all night.
Traylon Ray was a guy that joined our program last year and didn’t do anything last season. He had a great night and constantly found open space.
LSU’s defense, to no surprise, is really damn good. Y’all contained Kewan and applied lots pressure in that third quarter.
The game changed when Trey’Dez Green got hurt. I said in my honest thoughts after the Louisville game that he was going to eat us alive, and he was until he went down. I hope he’s okay, he’s a hell of a player.
The absolute BALLS on Pete Golding and John David Baker to go for two after that last TD. Great job by the offense executing the hard count twice in a row.
Not kick while he’s down, but Leavitt really needs to work on his short/medium passing accuracy. Open TD on goal to go at the end that he just missed.
LSU is still gonna win a lot of games this year, make no mistake. Tonight was a heavyweight bout between two well-coached teams. LSU probably wins this game if it’s in Baton Rouge.
Good luck the rest of the way LSU. You’re in good hands with Kiffin (I’m not being sarcastic, he’s a damn fine coach).
