Our DL is still weak for our standards at that position

Is ESPN using the old Jefferson Pilot cameras for this game? Holy shite. ESPN needs to do better than this.

Most games in the SEC now use the schools camera, control room, staff, etc. for SEC Network games.

Ah the good ol days when most games weren’t televised and it was special to see your team on tv even if it was the shitty JP broadcast

Games started at 9 am Pacific time. It was wonderful because we didn't get a lot of SEC content in the bay area.

Yeah the camera quality and contrast is not great.

If you switch to the Florida game or even the Memphis game and then switch to State, the broadcast is terrible.

I honestly had no idea that JP games were national.

ULM might be the worst team in America. But maybe 7-5 will save Jebby’s job.
Reminds me of those pre nil ole miss teams under Kiffin. Good enough.

Scoring too quickly
No such thing except maybe when it’s to go ahead late in a game. Even then personally I think if you can score then score. There’s no guarantee if you hold up that you’ll score on another play. That line of thinking is just over strategizing and costs you more games than wins
You always take the score and it’s your defenses job to get stops.

Um yea. We have been a disaster after Leach died and Arnett gutted us trying to run an entirely different system instead of continuing the air raid.
Lebby improved year two over year one. 7-5 would be perfectly fine considering the complete rebuild we needed and our NIL disadvantage. This would show us headed in the right direction and that Lebby can get us back to 7-9 wins a year. This would open up donors wallets. It’s a long grind back to being respectable like under Mullen and Leach.
I expected 6-6 or better this year. Less and I’d be wanting a change.

Damn how’d KT get out of that

i am dating myself but, don't miss the low-def JeffPilot but I do miss the Daves on the call. Nothing like hearing the Daves get excited over a 3-5 Gamecocks vs a 4-4 Arky.

My dad went to college at Arkansas and was from Pine Bluff. Huge hog fan
I have fond memories of Saturday’s in the farm shop and the hogs would be on JP or CBS (rare) back when Matt Jones was QB. This is when they might be on tv for 3-4 games a season tops. We had a 15 inch tv with rabbit ears antennae to watch the game in the shop while working on equipment. When they weren’t televised it was move the radio around the shop until it barely picked up the broadcast on AM radio.
The ability to watch all games today is cool but it really takes away those special moments.
