I'm not sure which video you're referring to. The video we saw on live tv and in the replays immediately after that show 0:00 on the clock and the ball 3 feet away from the defender that catches it. We need an explanation for that. The Big 10 hasn't addressed it. They think we're stupid, like Hugh McElroy.

I didn't watch it live. I am talking about the video where the Big10 is reviewing the 1st hail mary. I understand why people are upset, but watching the replay it made sense to me. Just telling you what espn is saying this am.
Eta: while not often thought about, it is well known the the stadium clock isn't really the official game time. That's kept by an official time keeper.

Bigger picture, Michigan has been in the news since Harbaugh's antics, sign stealing, the abusive coach, Sherrone Moore.
Really, having something like this happen in the first game of the season is less surprising and more business as usual in Ann Arbor.

It was blatant. But it doesn’t matter now.
Western got paid and they know they won fairly.
Michigan will have their own reckoning when OU blows them out.
Michigan and Big 10 football look more pathetic now…. than had they simply lost.
Whittingham apparently understands that.

NBC said on live TV that their clock was synced with the official game clock. NBC read 00:00 while the ball was still in the air.

I was driving home from college station so I didn’t see or hear it firsthand. But- the broadcast had boasted that the stadium clock WAS the official time b/c they do something of syncing with a strobe.
I’ve never heard that before but if that happened that also needs to be addressed.
To the B1G:
Sometimes when you are trying so hard to dissuade people from seeing what they saw with their own eyes you have to realize you’re in the wrong side of the argument.

It ended because, before he touched the ball, the WMU player had already stepped out of bounds. Looks like the right call.

Just makes CFB look even worse, this is a commissioner blatantly selling out one of the teams he's supposed to represent for money
If the commissioner is fine with this, at what point do we start to question the AD's, HC's and potentially even players? Are they fine throwing games like this for the guaranteed payday?

I don’t see a player standing out of bounds touching the ball at 01 seconds remaining. There is a Western Michigan player that appears to touch it at 0 seconds.
