Kiffin is a cataclysmic douche. His departure from OM was handled poorly on his part. We all can’t stand lsu as an institution. It’s a cesspool of unwashed scumbaggery.
But.
Ole Miss is going to get rolled and they won’t be in the top 25 by Halloween. They play in a texas high school stadium. This game is over in second quarter and everyone will be back under tent chandeliers enjoying cold chicken and champagne

It is just ignorant to say that Kiffin left the wrong way. He really didn’t have much choice than to do it the way he did.
It is uncommon to go to your school’s rival although Saban set the precedent for that, but I think one thing that is lost is that Kiffin had to announce that he was leaving before the end of the season due to the early signing period. He wanted to coach the playoffs and obviously Ole Miss should have let him do that, but they hurt themselves and denied him that opportunity. Then they made a panic hire and grasped onto continuity, not even choosing the right coordinator .
He later merely acknowledged the truth that Ole Miss has an association with racism due to historical events, which is legitimately going to make any top coach not think of it as a destination job. It’s not that Kiffin is super mean and wanted to hurt them. They just wouldn’t accept anything else.

How was it handled poorly by him? The AD could have simple said if you’re not signing the extension and going to LSU go…but no…he thought he could talk Lane into staying…
The NCAA calendar is the problem…
Also if Lane wasn’t going to LSU he was headed to Florida…again the AD and the calendar are the culprits…
