Are you going to be OK? His family is dug in. He is half autistic which means he won’t deal with it until the season ends. He (like every other coach) has a dickhead named Jimmy Sexton jumping planes and setting up possibilities. At the end of the day we will do like we always do…put our best foot forward to keep him and live with whatever.

The man doesn’t walk on water. Keith has done a great job getting two of the best coaches in Beard and Kiffin and will do his best to keep them. If either or both walk he will find good replacements.

Odd that coaches are fired at the drop of a dime and when you want to keep them you expect loyalty? Are you a child?

And he could be dragging out LSU and Florida as long as he can to keep them from focusing on their coaching searches. Which is brilliant. Just doesn’t endure him to his fan base.

Truth is if I had to choose between schools I would take LSU. Even with the Governor screwing if up etc. They have endless backyard talent and a great fan base that will fill an opponents stadium. Florida sucks at a traveling fan base. What they have is Steve Spurrier who went to school there. Urban won more titles and wanted away from that place.

So at the end of the day don’t be shocked if he remains at Ole Miss or goes to LSU who has better tools in the toolbox.

I don't see why everyone is so impatient.

These things are rarely (if ever) announced until the final regular season game.

If we fire him, he’s owed $44 mil. What does he owe us while playing footsie during our playoff run?

Kiffin is not officially gone until he starts talking about "a pine box, something, something".

I would say he waits until the final game is played if we happen to get into the playoffs. The question is who wants to wait until January to settle this? Like Vegas. Gambling.

It has always amazed me that idiots like you think that is what folks want in a coach just because we don’t wanna be cucked. So strange.

And if there's one coach on the planet that's thinking like this, it's Kiffin. I don't think it's the case here, but it wouldn't surprise me either.

I think he ultimately stays at OM, but is loving the attention this is bringing him right now too much to shut it down entirely. It's all branding to him, being the "most desired prize" only ups his credibility and recruiting in both HS and the portal. It also makes OM go to great lengths to keep him, and the fans more grateful when he stays.

He's playing this strategically, but if he goes too much further it starts to go the other way and he loses support. Toeing a fine line right now

We don’t play football with the caveat of ridiculous pride. Coach fails we fire them. If they succeed (which is why we hire them) then we have to pay them. Expecting them to dance to your tune and your tune alone is stupidity. This is why Tuberville left as soon as he could. And whiners like you hired Cutcliffe. For loyalty. Give me a break. How much money do you give for NIL. Hint…if it’s less than 6 figures than shut you dumb arse. Go back to NAFOOM if they’ll have you back.

we all know you Rebel fans will drop to your knees and deep throat Lane's hammer once you read the ESPN headline of him signing the Ole Miss extension.

Florida fans know it.
LSU fans know it.
Alabama fans know it.
Georgia fans know it.
The entire league knows it.

I bet there's a coach out there you could offer $10 million a year if he'd wear a promise ring and sign a contract saying he'd never leave though!

He won't win many games, but he'd be loyal to OM. A true Oxford man of the people, he'd kiss babies and hug the elderly fans in attendance tight! Isn't that what's most important when it comes to a meaningless game that college kids we'll never meet play?

You’re so chronically-online you think this is a normal thing to say. Please go touch some grass, and stop being a weirdo.

Your fans who came to the game tonight (all 500 of them) were basically wearing shirts that said “Please Lane frick my wife and butt frick my daughter Lane!”

I’ve never seen a more cucked fan base for an SEC matchup in my life.
