There was a scenario, where LSU and the state of Louisiana doesn't do, whatever it is they did, to get Kiffin after giving up on Brian Kelly. Kiffin likely ends up in Gainesville. That means we never get Sumrall. Crazy how things work out. I'm sure Kiffin will do just fine, but I've never been more happy to be wrong about a coach. It really is great to be again.

Sumrall is going to be the better hire in the long run (hell maybe even now already). His whole demeanor and way of running things is intimidating for other programs
Plus, Sumrall has coached in the playoffs already. Kifffin has yet to do that

They are both good coaches. I would rather Kiffin, but Sumrall is a good coach too.
