Enjoy a hopefully not too rain soaked Keeneland to all of our bayou bengal guests and a good game tonight. Should be a fun day!

The storm is trending east. Breezy showers in some bands with less lightning threat than forecast yesterday. Wind advisory ends at 7 pm. Not great weather but not as bad as it looked.

I'm just finishing up my run out here by the Horse Park and it's starting to drizzle. Certainly not enough to deter tailgating or Keeneland. Hardly more than a sprinkle. If it stays like this all day than weather shouldn't be a concern. I haven't looked ahead to see what it's supposed to do by game time.

Perfect.

Maybe we can get Bill Meck and Chris Bailey to do a pregame UFC meteorology battle to the death to kick things off.

I'm in a gorgeous area of Louisville but I do miss Lexington some days. The horse farms, the stone fences, it's just breathtaking.

I generally like Chris Bailey and he has a good informative blog…but he is very much Mr. Aggressive with the doom and gloom worst case scenarios.

Windy now but future radar looking decent. Sprinkles or light showers and dying winds by game time.

Gonna' watch, of course. But I think this one is going to be a problem.

LSU is just really, really talented at every position.

I think everyone knows LSU has the edge in talent and should win. We are good enough if they make some mistakes it could be interesting. We weren’t last year.

Chris Tolliver, Ryan Willis, Artose Pinner and Magnum Rolle are serving crepes while Alazae, Richard Dickson, Perry Stephenson and Javonte Smart are hosting a cookout as John Brady, Dale Brown and Tubby Smith sing 50 ways to leave your lover.

More to come.
