Auburn came off a disappointing 3-9 campaign, changed coaches and with the Gus bus had miracle wins like the prayer at Jordan hare and the kick 6 and a run to the natty game just coming up short
New coach, offensive whiz in Golesh, like Gus was 10-15 years back, and Auburn seems to have a new life to them
Auburn is set up to make a surprise natty run but will come up short against Miami instead of FSU, but still one of the big 3 football programs in Florida
The parallels are everywhere

Nick Marshall threw the football better than Brown is at the moment.
Auburn’s passing game desperately needs to improve for them to have a chance moving forward this year, offensive line ain’t good enough to create that 2013 type of run game

I saw this thread title and wondered why a Gator was reminiscing about that day in 2013 when the 6th ranked LSU Tigers came into the Vaught planning to pummel an injury-depleted Ole Miss squad. Half of our defensive starters out. A cobbled together line, including a freshman white boy walkon at DE. But the line held, we picked off three passes from SEC-leading Mett, and at the end my boy Andrew Ritter sailed one through the posts to secure the win.

You presented no real parallels between now and 2013. Only things that you've concocted in your head.
