In the past 25 years, three different coaches have led Ole Miss to 10 win seasons; David Cutcliffe, Hugh Freeze, and Lane Kiffin. A regular murderers row.

Lane Kiffin is the only coach at Ole Miss to achieve three consecutive 10-win seasons. His success includes three consecutive 10-win seasons and the first two 10-win regular seasons in the program's history.

Yes they are...they draw in millions for the schools..so very much yes. The schools like OSU, Georgia, Texas etc make over 50 mill a year profit after all is paid. Why coachea like Smart, Meyer, Saban, Day, etc have or do make many millions..supply and demand.

Ain’t no Coaching Changes season like an LSU Coaching Changes season.

Hope you’ve been well, EKG!

He doesn’t suck. He is a solid 9-11 win coach every year. But just like BK I do not think he is a fit for LSU. Pass.

Sounds like you want a coach who is a great fit in Louisiana and has proven to be able to take a team to an undefeated championship season.

He wins football games.

Is he worth the salary that he will be earning (somewhere) at the end of this season? That is a highly-subjective question.

I don’t know about “great” overall, but the man knows how to score points.

He's flopped everywhere he's coached except Missy, and he's never really had anything to show for that stint. Oh, and he did ok at SW A&M Florida Tech School for the Blind. So, never thought I'd see the day on this forum that I was siding with a Clem's-sons fan, but truthfully, I think he's getting all of this hype because no one wants to gamble on a good coordinator. Which is baffling, because Kirby, Ryan Day, Marcus Freeman and Dan Lanning were all coordinators that went straight in to head coaching gigs...and they all were home run hires.

Kiffins been fired everywhere else he's been.

No he hasn’t. He got fired from the Raiders and USC. He left Tennessee on his own. He’d already accepted the FAU job when Saban “fired” him. And he left FAU on his own

Kiffin’s overall record is not outstanding but in todays lingo he is trending with the last 4-5 yrs looking pretty good. His offenses are always in top tier.
He had defensive issues and improved that. LSU and UF dont have defensive problems but do on offense… hence, the match made in heaven.

The biggest attraction is that he is gettable right now.

Two numbers in this are 10 and 11. Both of which get you into the playoff. And you...dont want that?
And then will promptly break your heart because of his autism.

No thanks.

Extremely favorable schedule in recent years. Choked away golden opportunity last year. Never beat Bama. And undid any / all change to restoring his image. LSU fans won’t admit that because, well, he is your new HC. Enjoy, and congrats.
