Yeah no one wants him to be hurt but you can’t run directly at the guy and then slide while the guys in the air to tackle you. He hasn’t slid all game.

I'd teach my QBs to slide head first. See less injuries like that.

I don’t know how you’re supposed to not make contact there. It’s a running back with the ball, no longer wearing the no hit jersey. It’s going to be called every time but if you slide into the defender and he falls on you it’s just football.

Compare that hit to the Dante Moore hit and it’s nowhere near as flagrant or bad. It’s a penalty but not targeting and not dirty.

No way was that a dirty play
Penalty is warranted there, but a young player moving forward with a tackle is no way “thug” behavior
