Trainwreck? Some differences with a highschool coach and a teacher seem to be the sum total of his transgressions. So he has a strong/willful personality. Nothing a clean slate and a new environment cant fix. He takes a ton of flak over UGA not allowing him to be an early enrollee(really wanted to be done with highschool and a toxic environment) and UGA greatly mishandling of that situation. But the kid doesn't have legal trouble that I am aware of, is a hard worker, and capable in the classroom.
Why does everyone (especially UGA with its 5-7 arrests per offseason) pretend this kid is toxic?
LOL alright
Look he's worth taking a shot if you are Tennessee. Acting like every other CFB program was dumb for backing off is laughable.

That dude has trouble written all over him. I wouldn't want him anywhere near LSUs football program. We also have 3 stud rbs returning, and a really good rb that we signed this signing class so we don't need him as much as tenner does.

There were 4-5 schools he was considering after the UGA fiasco. UGA, Florida, Vols, Ole Miss, and atleast 1 more. Talent wise he starts at any school in the SEC in year 1. And you are delusional if you think LSU wouldn't take him in a second. Doesnt get along with random highschool coach but stayed on team is nothing. Either there is something else involved or petty justification of why a guy didn't pick your team is a bit much.

Don't listen to SoG, he is a big LSU homer. Everyone knows that.

I can’t tell if you’re just trolling on the recruiting board or not, but to act like the kid doesn’t have a bunch of yellow/red flags is disingenuous. I say that as someone who wanted Georgia to sign him. I thought he was worth the risk. But you’re acting as if there’s no risk, which is dumb.

Why assume they would? UGA wouldnt even take him after they signed him. Thats not normal at all.

He’s got George rolled up and pushed this to 5 pages. Can’t hate him too much right now

UGA had a guy with an ankle bracelet as the back up RB in their bowl game last year. You really think they would draw the line at "he didn't give up his cellphone at curfew"?

Risk? Absolutely. The problem is the degree of risk. A college coach should be able to manage the risk. It's not a high risk/toxic type risk unless it's more than disagreed with a highschool coach type stuff. If a coach cannot handle a strong willed talent then they dont need to coach in the SEC. Kid went to school and graduated early, has no arrest record, didn't quit on him team dispite the issues with the head coach. Unless there is more to it he looks like a medium risk guy.

UGA has Z White coming off bad knees and 2 years of little to no carries, and a scat back that had to be bailed out of Clarke County jail to make the bowl game.
LSU has Curry with 2 years worth of stats consisting of 40ish carries and 190is yards. If you think they wouldnt welcome a 5* RB to take some pressure off the O you are deluding yourself.
Bama would be the only SEC school we would not start in year 1.

I've definitely never seen someone this delusional on this board before, it's sad

After Brenton Cox, I guess Kirby isn’t gonna put up with a bad teammate. A talent junkie isn’t gonna send a signed badass Rb away for no good reason.

UGA averages 5-7 arrests every off season going back to the Mark Ritch era and continued to recruit Evans after releasing him from his financial aid agreement. They took White in 2018 and McIntosh in 2019 as primary backs and Cook (already arested) as a scat back. Swift from the 2017 class is gone. They are down to 3 scholarship RBs and 1 has already been arrested. They need a back badly and screwed up when they lied to Evans.
