that is silly. No team is stuck with a player. If they are bad, they are gone. He either uses the fresh opportunity to turn his life in a positive direction or he departs. I am hoping the best for the kid, even if he doesn't end up with us.

The insiders aren't changing their CBs because of anything Evans has said. They rushed them all in because someone knows for sure where he signed already.

Very big of you, since it was 3-4 weeks ago that LSU and A&M fans were having a knock down drag out over if he would go to LSU or A&M. now that it looks like he MIGHT have signed with Georgia you will "let" us have the drama?

To be fair, there's been a lot of new drama since the LSU and A&M bickering.
I'd still take the kid because I think our staff is strong enough and depth chart is deep enough that the kid will be forced to get in line or sit. But I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

Evans has said enough to make it obvious that he signed with GA.

This kid will destroy a team, with his issues. He screwed his high school teammates, who won the championship without him. His ego is all about him.

I agree that Evans' attitude and behavior issues can damage team chemistry, etc. But, he didn't "destroy" his HS team. Instead, he got himself suspended from it and ultimately kicked off of it. His issues also caused several programs (e.g., Texas, tOSU, Bama) to quit recruiting him.

But to be clear, I'm not knocking Kirby, Ed O or Jimbo for being willing to take a risk on Evans. That's each coach's decision to make for their situations. And, best wishes for Evans. I hope he'll learn to accept good advice from coaches and mature team leaders.

Do UGA fans think the kid is only to have one hat on the table. The kid has been all drama so he needs to make his announcement feel big by acting like some of the top schools in the country are still recruiting him.
This kid will be great for Kirby. It is so obvious where he is going and most think he already signed. This is just another stage for Kirby to look like he won something and for this kid to have some moment. Nothing more.
