“One of their backs just played in the Super Bowl as a rookie.”

ETA: He was also asked, “Will you and Darnell Washington end up at the same school?”

His answer: “Is it hot in Texas?”

ETA2: Zach Evans was asked where he thinks Darnell Washington is going

His answer, “Miami”

Darnell was asked the same about Evans

His answer “LSU”

Maybe he didn't sign with Georgia. This kid has played way too many games to be this direct about where he's going.

Or, maybe this is the old double fake out. He must have known I expected him to be coy about where he's going so he went with the honest answer knowing I'd never believe he was being honest.

Where exactly IS the iocane powder?

This is one time that I am glad a 5 star kid won’t be choosing LSU. This kid has nothing but trouble attached to his character. Maybe I am wrong but the best indicator of future behavior is past behavior.

Brian Herrien had behavior and academic issues in high school.

Now he is a senior, team captain, and has gotten academic awards.

I have no problem with signing him.

He could be a bad egg, but we all know UGA has no problem kicking players off the team.

Ahh so you didn’t want Zach Mett at LSU back in 2011 then I presume? You fully expected him to grope some Louisiana women right?

Two completely different situations. Mett’s issues were not team related. It was a legal issue outside of the team. Mett then went to JC and proved himself deserving of a second chance. LSU isn’t hurting for RB’s. We have 3 quality backs. Evan’s appears to be a team cancer. Everyone is capable of redemption and I could be completely wrong about Evans but RB’s are a dime a dozen and Just because you’re a 5 star, the quality gap from a 5 to a 4 isn’t that great.

I bet in 2 years, Evans won’t be on the Georgia football team.

Yes. One was arrested and kicked off their team for sexual battery. The other pissed their highschool coach off. One was a major concern and one isn’t

Well, good luck with the kid then because if LSU can get the Gibbs kid, I think he will prove to be the better back.

That's debatable.

Proved himself deserving a 2nd chance because he can play QB?

The SEC has since put in rules that would make a repeat of this situation near impossible. That would imply that the 2nd chance is no longer considered deserved.

Ya, it’s pretty funny hearing other sec fans pretend their schools only recruit saints and have never had any kids with attitude issues. Tyrann Matthieu and Met at LSU, Johnny manziel at a&m, and Tony Brown at bama all had equal or more issues than Zach Evans. We can always have a team vote if something goes wrong.

Everyone has known for weeks it’s Georgia. Why are y’all still speculating on it?

The same Fletcher Whiteley that said this?:

One player that noticed these commits was Zach Evans
. Over the weekend, Evans went from having A&M third to A&M being the leader. A Texas fan said it best when he said A&M can sell Evans he is the missing guy for a national championship. Texas can’t say that right now.

And:
A&M has three cornerbacks that they really like, and they are Dwight McGolthern
, RJ
Mickens
, and Jalen Kimber
. A&M leads for all three. A&M probably gets all three so let’s move on.

Kimber signed with Georgia, Mickens signed with Celmson and McGlothern is still unsigned. Yeah. I think I will skip over all the "insider" information this guy gives.

Because nobody knows anything? I mean, nobody.....this guy is as solid as a tub of jello. The only thing we know is that we don't know.

I don't know if he will be considered the better back, but I really lie him. A lot. I mean, we should all have learned that it is never a closed argument when it comes to who is the better back. I'm not sold that anyone will pry him from GT, though.

Yep. It was obvious at the end of the Early Signing Period.

Bud Elliott tweet, "Alabama DT commit Jayson Jones says that he would take UGA over the field for Darnell Washington and LSU over the field for Zach Evans."
