he literally announced today on twitter, or instagram, that his decision would be on ENSD. we all know he's picking Texas, but it's a bit disrespectful to take this kid's moment away from him like this.

Would be great if this ends up backfiring on them.

Longhorns Country on Sports Illustrated broke the news, too, but they ended up changing the article.

I hate it for Florida because it happens all the time but anytime a previously committed player sets another announcement date it is usually not good news for their current team

i don't really know what he's waiting on. if he's going to flip, just flip already. we already know he's going to so just do it.

He needs his “moment”

I said the entire time even at “#3” that the class was never going to finish inside the top 8. I maintained that throughout the only thing I’m surprised on is lagway sticking at least till now.
Telling the ones who can change it requires way more than making a nice life for yourself. To take on the bull gator old guard and team foley u prob need to be a actively engaged billionaire not a millionaire, I’m not a billionaire lol
There’s been no positives since the admin got in a behind the scenes pissing contest with Mullen though. This class was never going to finish where some of you desperately wanted it to

And his HS coach getting a job at Texas.

that's like one of those recruits from the state of Florida trying to get their dad a job at the university he committed to.
i forget who that was. maybe it was Rashada? i don't know.

Same day Texas gets the Clemson's Andrew Mukuba in the portal too. That is wild.

Florida finished 5-7
Texas punches a ticket to the playoff
Recruiting is very fickle, I agree with you there, but what do you expect him to say? "Yea the team I committed to isn't great right now and I'm looking at other places." You and I both know he'd be slammed twice as hard.
Considering money is a part of every recruitment in this day and age, I don't think he only picked Texas simply because they have more money.

it's all the shite he talked about staying committed and shitting on those that did decommit

X said that quote after Florida lost to FSU, fwiw

A lot of times the guys who play it really close to the vest and wait to commit are probably "flipping" back and forth a lot internally, and look a lot better off for it just by waiting.
Moral of the story; if you're a recruit, talk less, commit later.
